Khaamosh Raho ~ खामोश रहो

The Thought  Hello everyone! It has been really long i wrote some good poetry. "Khamosh raho" meaning Be Silent is a poem i wrote two days back. It speaks of what i have observed, noticed and realized. I strongly believe that the whole creation has a way of answering you back in a very silent and subtle manner. And the time you get all those answers, you might be overwhelmed by the beauty of the way by which the creation converses with you. खामोश रहो is a heart piece and will always be one, for i believe it is nothing but a message from the creation itself flowing through a pen on an A4, me being the medium. I hope you have a picture of it by now. Enjoy!!

Courage or Cowardice

Hi everyone! Been really long i saw you, met you through my words and you my readers, met me in my writings. Lately, a lot has been happening in and around life. All good personally and professionally. But the morning newspapers do not bring news good enough to celebrate. Rape, Murder, Child abuse are somethings amongst many that our eyes have gone dry, reading to. I have been listening to Modi ji's "Aashawadi" speeches and the claps that follow thereafter. It's almost like listening to Obama giving out his hope fueling speeches. I just hope Modi ji's plans don't fail to deliver like Obama care did.   Never before, i have seen markets (retail) hitting such lows. I am cerataily not talking market specific. All the markets have struck a low, almost a halt. The Real Estate sector is almost dead, next to Zero Transaction. I wish Modi ji all the very best in his endeavors.  On the mike, he seems a very promising man.  But the reality (as of now) ...

Only If YOU Were the Epicenter

Last night, we were having a dinner discussion when Hittu a.k.a Hitesh Rajani, the brainy brother he is talked of Epicenter. And out of nowhere, an altogether new angle to this word and its meaning struck to me. I heard and often hear certain things. They all have very much the same meaning. The moment, you start believing yourself as CENTER of the world, you start loosing the CENTER.  I believe it to be somewhat true, almost true, actually true!  For all things that occur and happen to us, to the world are fine tuned by mother nature in order to regulate the functioning of this world. I might be rude to say, but even the happenings and natural calamities are just fine tuned in order to keep the self sustaining world alive. Each of us is the EPICENTER, but for a little while. In that little while, whatever we do might show it's effects (good or bad) on lives of many that are beyond our reach. I hope you remember the "Nirbhaya rape case". I also hope yo...

Outraged ~ Overwhelmed

I am not in a habit of writing down person specific, firm specific or industry specific write up's. I am also not the one who will try n bag attention by capitalizing on some good or bad experiences with people and firms. But quite frankly, from the bottom of my heart thank you Galaxy Toyota to motivate me to the limits of writing up a blog post. So much that i became impatient as a mindless insect to share my delightful, exhilarating, exciting and overwhelming experience of having dealt with them. Unfortunately i met an accident in my Corolla Altis. The headlamps were broken. The bumper broke, was hanging in two. The left side doors got scratched and dented in. I, (as any other person would do) took it to the body-shop for repairs under my motor insurance policy. I gave in my Altis to the body shop. The consecutive day, i got a call from the body-shop telling me that the car did not look like it had met with an accident. Instead, it looked like it had been delibera...

Rebel In Pressure, Aggressive In Ease

For me as a poet, it has often been hard to choose from the wide array of issues, situations and experiences to pen down some good poetry. And every time i have found my self in a fix, friends Dhruv Dhingra and Sandesh Pahuja have been at my rescue. Yesterday wen i was thinking of a good topic for a poem that should flow through my pen, Sandy a.k.a. Sandesh Pahuja asked me to think on this. He said "If there is a pressure on me to create a recognition for myself, it will make me weak and loose self confidence". I therefore modify and frame it in a different way. "Will the Pressure to create ( self ) recognition help and benefit a person or will it make him weak and loose his confidence." I, being a management student have listened to video lectures of some great management gurus and entrepreneurs. I have been fortunate enough to attend this thirteen day executive program at the prestigious Hass School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, San ...

Farewell MANMOHAN, MODI Executed

Hi everyone! Almost a month, i scribbled something on this template to communicate and reach out to you through my views. Quite frankly, a lot has been happening on the family front. There's this lady designated (now) as my fiance, soon to be my wife who takes away my time. And she rightfully deserves that. So, bless us with all your good wishes.  But here, i am not to talk of my personal life. I had and have been reading a lot about the declining stature and reputation of Indian National Congress and the steeping heights Bhartiya Janta Party has achieved through these elections. The BJP has won the battle and now we have MR. Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of this great nation called INDIA. But, amid-st all this " halla hoo " of Election 2014, many people have been unfairly positioned and misinterpreted. And the greatest of all of them being affected, Mr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of INDIA for consecutive 10 years i.e 2004- 2014. Mr. Manmohan Si...

Self Less Love

It was late noon of 26 April 2014, when i stepped into my office after dropping my car for some minor touch-ups at the service outlet. It was then that my father told me of this N.G.O " India Vision Foundation ", with which he had been involved in some little ways. Furthermore, he had been  invited to their event at Springdales Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi that very day. Having a busy schedule, he asked me if i would like to go and have an experience of it. Once there, i was awestruck by what i witnessed every moment. I was in an auditorium filled with 200 children whose parents are currently in jail or just got released. Some of the children's parents were also present there. Out of there other initiatives, Indian Vision Foundation looks after the education, talent and skill enhancement of these 200 children. What a great initiative i say! The best part is that everything about every child is well sorted, effectively managed and taken down on papers...
