Outraged ~ Overwhelmed

I am not in a habit of writing down person specific, firm specific or industry specific write up's. I am also not the one who will try n bag attention by capitalizing on some good or bad experiences with people and firms. But quite frankly, from the bottom of my heart thank you Galaxy Toyota to motivate me to the limits of writing up a blog post. So much that i became impatient as a mindless insect to share my delightful, exhilarating, exciting and overwhelming experience of having dealt with them. Unfortunately i met an accident in my Corolla Altis. The headlamps were broken. The bumper broke, was hanging in two. The left side doors got scratched and dented in. I, (as any other person would do) took it to the body-shop for repairs under my motor insurance policy. I gave in my Altis to the body shop. The consecutive day, i got a call from the body-shop telling me that the car did not look like it had met with an accident. Instead, it looked like it had been delibera...

Rebel In Pressure, Aggressive In Ease

For me as a poet, it has often been hard to choose from the wide array of issues, situations and experiences to pen down some good poetry. And every time i have found my self in a fix, friends Dhruv Dhingra and Sandesh Pahuja have been at my rescue. Yesterday wen i was thinking of a good topic for a poem that should flow through my pen, Sandy a.k.a. Sandesh Pahuja asked me to think on this. He said "If there is a pressure on me to create a recognition for myself, it will make me weak and loose self confidence". I therefore modify and frame it in a different way. "Will the Pressure to create ( self ) recognition help and benefit a person or will it make him weak and loose his confidence." I, being a management student have listened to video lectures of some great management gurus and entrepreneurs. I have been fortunate enough to attend this thirteen day executive program at the prestigious Hass School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, San ...

Farewell MANMOHAN, MODI Executed

Hi everyone! Almost a month, i scribbled something on this template to communicate and reach out to you through my views. Quite frankly, a lot has been happening on the family front. There's this lady designated (now) as my fiance, soon to be my wife who takes away my time. And she rightfully deserves that. So, bless us with all your good wishes.  But here, i am not to talk of my personal life. I had and have been reading a lot about the declining stature and reputation of Indian National Congress and the steeping heights Bhartiya Janta Party has achieved through these elections. The BJP has won the battle and now we have MR. Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of this great nation called INDIA. But, amid-st all this " halla hoo " of Election 2014, many people have been unfairly positioned and misinterpreted. And the greatest of all of them being affected, Mr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of INDIA for consecutive 10 years i.e 2004- 2014. Mr. Manmohan Si...

Self Less Love

It was late noon of 26 April 2014, when i stepped into my office after dropping my car for some minor touch-ups at the service outlet. It was then that my father told me of this N.G.O " India Vision Foundation ", with which he had been involved in some little ways. Furthermore, he had been  invited to their event at Springdales Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi that very day. Having a busy schedule, he asked me if i would like to go and have an experience of it. Once there, i was awestruck by what i witnessed every moment. I was in an auditorium filled with 200 children whose parents are currently in jail or just got released. Some of the children's parents were also present there. Out of there other initiatives, Indian Vision Foundation looks after the education, talent and skill enhancement of these 200 children. What a great initiative i say! The best part is that everything about every child is well sorted, effectively managed and taken down on papers...

The Stage and The Mike

In one of my tweets earlier, i mentioned getting off from politics and switching to light issues to bring in light heart ed comedy. And quite frankly, i tried my best to steer clear of the political happenings. But then, what hurts and entices my pen to scribble it's political viewpoints time and again are the Rough, Rude, Lewd and Cheap comments made by our very own politicians towards the women of our nation. When you talk from Experience, it comes across as "Wisdom". But when you try talking anything and everything that comes to your mind in the name of  "Experience", it is considered a worthless time wasting effort to compose sentences trying to be a "Wanna be". I had just returned from a busy Sunday at work. Switched on the T.V and found son of the honorable President of India - Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Mr. Abhijit Mukherjee being criticized for his comment on the women of Delhi. " What's basically happening in Delhi is a lot...

The ANTI-Social Media

I just tweeted a few days back " I have always been a little late than others! When people tweeted, i facebook' ed . Today when i am tweeting, i wonder what's next genre? " And i seriously think i am late and lag behind in the race of the virtual world. Furthermore to console and motivate myself, i keep calling myself a bit " Retro " or a bit " Vintage ". I strongly think that Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and many other virtual worlds have encouraged, influenced the participation of  "Mango People" in important matters. The participation and the say of a common man has increased manifold. In fact, it has further broadened the horizons of human understanding about different forms of Art and Cultures. The social media has been a great aide in bringing recognition to this labyrinth of talent scattered all over the world. Politics is a clear example of how social media educates and involves people connected from all over. O...

Transformation In Transition

Hi there! Hope you are great when reading this. Actually, i believe you are. You see, everyone goes through a transition. Exits one phase of  life into another, from one state of mind to another. A Transition therefore, can either be hauntingly negative or a blessing in disguise. I mean if you ever gave me a pen and a paper, i would have surely thought either you were angry at me or probably not one with a sane head. Continuously amazed, i look today at this pen in my hand running and scribbling on an A4 sheet . Well, i have been immensely blessed. This transition, has been good i believe. In my wildest of dreams, i could not have dared to dream what i am today.  What i am today?  A Poet! I started reading Ahmed Faraz poetry on one of his unofficial Facebook fan pages. And boy! i was taken. Enraptured and possessed by his words, i started quoting his lines in gatherings to score applauds. In case of girls, a bit of a look and admiration came my ...
