Happy Women's Day

The Thought To all the women of the world, accept this poem for all what you do for (let's admit) the men. Men are great and good but incomplete. And yes, somewhere irresponsible. So i'll not bring much to the embarrassment of my brothers round the globe and straight shot say, "Lady who the one? I say YOU the one!" Accept this poem as a token of love and respect.  A big bow to the woman of today To the thorns of forbearance laid her way To the composure, she holds within her self To the closure , that absorbs everything in itself To the mother, that woke up to get you sleeping To the mother, seeing you sad was she weeping To the beloved, who would fight the world for you To the beloved, for her happiness entirely is you To the sister, who in secret prays for you To the sister, her lips have praise for you To the granny, for you're the apple of her eye To the granny, for she's the "buri nazar" spy ...

The First Drive

Just like the First crush, First kiss, First drink and various other "firsts" in a guy's life, the First drive is of utmost importance. This experience i believe remains afresh no matter how old the guy gets each passing day. I am 26 today and still have that sweet memory of my first attempt at drivers seat to touch the keys dangling from the ignition and turning them clockwise. That wild sensation for the moment, to move that beautiful art of mechanics. One fine morning, i saw a man with long mustaches cycling towards my home. No, it was not his first day. It is the first conscious memory i have of him. As we all call him, Bahadur Uncle ageing around 65 years now. He got into this blue colored mechanics , turned the ignition on, reversed the car from the porch and parked it besides our house. It was a Maruti GYPSY . Totally spellbound as guys of my times would be, i went running towards him requesting him to allow me to sit in the driver's seat. Totall...

Happy Valentines Day

The most wonderful emotion in this world is Love. The most productive yet destructive emotion in this world is Greed. Love is splendid. It need not be celebrated. It is a celebration itself.  Please do not think that i am against the concept of Valentines day. In fact, i think it is one of the most beautiful gifts we have received from foreign cultures. I am talking just about Love today. Love for your Family, Friends, Work, and your beloved too. Ha ha! It seems viable enough today since it's happened to me, else i would often wonder if " I love my work " statement was actually true or a conversation builder. Friendship, i would say ( if i may ) is the first ladder to Love and a variety of emotions. Now it's pathetic to see people turning low and hopeless on there life if, they don't get their life to spend with the one they love. Well, if love realized and executed calls for a celebration then love realized and UN executed calls for a celebr...

Politics ~ Comedy (That's all that matters)

Looking at the prevailing political scenario, i am emotionally compelled to form an analogy. And since it's my analogy, i strongly and sincerely hope it fails its ground soon. But for the moment, it stands true. All you need is an eye to look. I am known of Indian National Congress being 128 years old party, founded December 28,1885. I am known of BJP, Bhartiya Janta Party founded in 1980. The two Whale Sharks ruling the Indian Political sea initially. BJP proudly boasts of being the second largest  political party in terms of representation in Parliament. Then in 2008 there was this alliance between 13 parties, led by BJP known as NDA ~ National Democratic Alliance to procure maximum seats in parliament to come into power. In 2004, there was another alliance between Congress, Samajwadi party and Bahujan Samajwadi party prominently, known as UPA ~ United Progressive Alliance . The Congress did so, as there was no single party which could roar majority in the Parlia...

Five Experiences Five Conversations Five Worlds

Hi Everyone! This post is purely from the heart. No statistics, no hard proven facts and figures but one thing that fills for everything - Personal Experiences. There is a certain image that every nation has in front of the world. Let's say: United States Of America - Super Power ; Numero Uno China - Outsourced ; Capturing World Markets Russia - Weaponry ; Aircrafts ; Beautiful ladies Japan - Inspiration ; Electronics European Union - Broke yet Beautiful Pakistan - You know it right! ( and i am not being parochial ) India - Once The Golden Bird ; The Rich Yet Poor Country ; The Emerging Superpower ; Third World Country ; Corruption ; The Cultural Collage ; Browns Furthermore, i'll be saying a lot of things. I just hope it all falls in place and makes sense in the end.

Never Underestimate The Power Of A Common Man

This moment when i write this piece , a line from the latest Bollywood movie Chennai Express, from the lips of the superstar Shah Rukh Khan echoes my mind. Never Under-estimate The Power Of A Common Man I am wondering if this man in the movie was trying to speculate or predict the coming political scenario. A scenario where in a common man, a government employee petrified of seeing the conscious slumber of people around gets off his desk, and takes the lead. A common man who enlightens people of what they are ought to be, which they are not. A man who dares the individuality of every individual to revolt and retaliate against the false practices among st the system. A man who dares to form a political party backed by the confidence and trust of commoners in him. A man who just like any other artiste in a floor show takes his competitors by surprise leaving every one around JAW DROPPED. And it's not just a man, who does all this. It's innumerable...

Happy New Year 2014

2013 was an amazing and an eventful year. An year of happenings, awakenings, surprises, shocks, scams, shams, scandals, revelations, revolts, retaliations, system-quakes and clean ups. That's a lot to read out in a single line in a single breath. Imagine how much it is for a single year to absorb. This Christmas i was sitting with a friend of mine. He is from America and was in Delhi for a day. It was heart warming to know that he read my posts on the blog each time they were up. What surprised me was that he found me pretty much biased. He found me quite "Parochial"  with my ideologies. The word "Parochial" is a gift from him. Ha Ha! I will try my best to break out from that image of mine. And if i fail to do so, forgive me for i cannot deceive my own self. On 16 December 2012, a girl was brutally gang raped in Delhi in a moving public transport bus. This was not a good welcome to the coming new year 2013. But the consequenc...
