"Ohh!! What kind of life is this!!!"
"Ohh! This was destined to happen to me"
I was in London, Trafalgar Square on the new year's eve welcomin 2020 with my better half and friends. I was in a total mood of appreciation towards the universe for bein so kind and gracious for giving me the moments that i was experiencing and with the people i was in that moment.
And then came the mighty 2020
This year was and is an acknowledgement slip to be filled in for all the good times in the past years of our life that went unnoticed by us. This year was that rough patch of the road, which made us say "Thank god! The road until now wasn't like this since we started from home!". This year made us realise the true value of words like FAMILY, RELATIONSHIPS, TRUE WEALTH, MENTAL HEALTH, REAL TREASURES OF LIFE, GRATITUDE, THANKFULNESS, POSITIVITY, OPTIMISM & many more.
2020 came and it brought along a deadly virus, COVID-19. A virus which in comparison to influenza did nothing much but still hurt nations, economies, World to be precise. Almost everyone who reads this post in there lifetime would have a horrid memory of losing someone in there family, near and dear ones due to coronavirus in year 2020. Never ever has the world unanimously gone on a complete lockdown fighting against one common enemy which is completely intangible yet highly dangerous. Although, this has been mothe nature's quite an expensive way of educating the mankind of maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and respect towards the mother nature too.
It has been almost like fighting against a ghost. Much alike the usual years, sadly the crime rate also rose this year but rose exponentially as economies almost collapsed or came to crutches, truth being told.
What needs to be done now?
What needs to be done now and forever is to instill a feeling of gratitude and thankfulness in people around us and the forthcoming generations. The single most powerful feeling in this world that gives strength and willpower to everyone for a better tomorrow. What needs to be taught is the art of appreciation for the gift of life, that too of a human.
We could have been born an insignificant ant or a bee, cockroach and die. But we were rewarded the life of a human. That is the ultimate gift, that truly needs to be appreciated.
What further needs our attention is the narrow focus on mental health, willpower and other cognitive issues to be looked from a broader perspective and discussed in open gatherings.
It has been real long, i met you here through my words. I am just saying what i feel and have been feeling from quite a long time in this year. As i write , i speak to you and myself and remind myself to stay strong and fit mentally, emotionally and physically.
If that happens, The world is our playground.
Best Wishes
