It was the morning of December 6 2013, that i was in my bed having morning coffee. As a daily ritual, instead of opening a morning daily in my hands i curiously opened Facebook in my smart phone. The whole news feed scroll had condolences and grief messages for a great soul that just moved into the god's house few hours ago.

The Great Nelson Mandela
People love the superhero they see in movies. If you ever wanted to know what a superhero looks like, your quest is over. Nelson Mandela is your answer folks! Out of what all i knew of this great human, i searched Nelson Mandela on Google.
"Nelson Mandela, former South African President died in Johannesburg, South Africa few hours ago. He was an Anti-Apartheid revolutionary. He was the change maker in South Africa, often called out as South Africa's Gandhi."
What a great introduction is that to the world. Totally startled by these few lines, i had an A4 and a pen with me to pay an ode to the legend that made colors look not just black and white but beautiful. Also, i found these quotes by the man himself, exhibiting his "never say never" attitude. The man who influenced, inspired and enticed zillions around the world to believe in themselves and be the change they wished to see. The man who instilled a feeling of equality irrespective of skin color. The man who infused a feeling of oneness bringing a nation together united, breaking free from the shackles of Racial discrimination.
It does not take magic but determination, grit and a hard head to collide with rocks and sculpt them into structures and systems of justice. This great man gave birth to The Nelson Mandela Foundation that supports conflict resolution, removal of poverty as well as improving the health of the public.
If i dare say, a lot to learn for our political pundits from this soul. He abolished the communal, racial and color divide which sadly our own men take as there principle pillars to stand, rule and operate as a government. (There are some wise men too, but some!)
Here's nothing original. A set of lines i tried writing in Shakespeare style in appreciation and admiration of Mr. Nelson Mandela.
Now that you are gone
Again once in our hearts
Oh Nelson! you are born
Now that you are free
The world follows
Footsteps of thee
