Arrey, Woh Bada Desh Hai!




Anybody who can answer this question in a convincing manner, wins respect and admiration from my end. I fail to understand why is it and what is it that Indians, Yes INDIANS in foreign lands are so law abiding and so into the limits. I have seen live examples whenever i am on an international tour. Be it Mauritius, Europe, Singapore, America or any other nation for that matter. Indians act so careful about the respective country's norms and regulations as if they are born, brought up and served by that country.

My brain nerves bleed pain as they are unable to find a convincing answer to the same. Indians, when on international tours do not drop there cola glasses out of the window in the middle of the road. But here, they do mind putting that glass on a glass holder in there car instead of throwing it out on a busy street. Indians, when on tours in other countries do not drop the fruit left overs and other trash out of there coach's window in the middle of a busy street. But here in India, who the hell cares if the family on the scooter behind your car slips just because of the banana peel you threw out in order to keep your car clean. An Indian (applies only to males) would not even think once before attending a nature's call in public anywhere in India. But in any other part of the world (in the same situation), he will bare with the pressure build up, health irregularities no matter if he goes pale and his facial expressions turn spooky enough to slow down the revenues coming from tourism of that nation. Ha Ha!

And the moment we are back in India, we are loaded. We bless the city walls by relieving ourselves. We spit, throw trash out of our cars on busy roads. 

I asked one such man(in the middle of his "deed") if it is in the same manner he was living and acting while on the tour. Know what he answers me back!

"Arrey Woh Bada Desh Hai " 

I am sorry for my answer to the disgusted remark but that is what i thought was right. I do not call the remark disgusted because he calls other nations big, but because he talks of India being a small nation. And i said nothing but the truth.
