Quality Education Versus Degree Affiliation

I've often heard people putting an end to conversations by saying, "And the rest is History". But I lately realise that History my friends, is never History. History lives Forever. History is Eternal. It's the History that haunts.

Earlier in Ancient times, lets say maybe in the medieval India, There were Gurukul teaching the students arts and practices of Warfare, of Business, Of Occult Sciences and everything else to sum it up. But the day they finished there due course of education, they did not get a handwritten note from the Gurukul Authority stating their appraisal and clearance on the candidate's performance. There was no "Degree" as i must say to state that these new young chickens were ready to lay some golden eggs leading India to a Golden future. Mere word of the "Aacharya", the teacher was the appraisal, The letter of appreciation, The Letter of Good Faith and The Letter of Confidence stating that the candidate was good to go out in the world and soar high. Let's put it this way, The word of the Teacher was a DEGREE in itself that the student would carry wherever he would go. Let me also tell everyone that there was no one , no supreme body to judge the Credentials of The Gurukul. I mean come on, You don't question the Lords. Do You ?

Then times passed, things changed, Evolution took it's toll and here we are in a world where every Tom, Dick and Harry gets a legitimate power (which apparently is being misused) to question every thing and anything, no matter how far out of reach it stands of there understanding of the Subject. Forget the understanding of the Subject, Call it Basic Understanding. One of the most blooming sectors in India is Education Sector. It' no more about the Quality of Education, The level of education but the factors on which an Educational Institution is judged today are probably on the basis of How Big The Campus Is, How high the Fee structure is, If the children of any celebrity are in te same Institution, How is the crowd of the Institution. And yes, this is the major one ~ What board does the Institution affiliate to?

One question that is alien to the ears is probably about the Quality of Education of an Educational Institution no matter what board it affiliates to. No one cares about the quality of education offered from the Institution. I have people telling me that educational Institutions today charge sky rocketing fees for there courses and even the Degree or the particular course is not affiliated as per such and such educational board. I just want to put forward my take on this and i will strongly stand by it come what may. It is a pity to see the Learned, the "Vidvaans" acting lame as anything. Scrutinizing an Educational Institution on the charge of giving out Degrees of the courses for they are not affiliated with an educational board (did you just think of UGC or AICTE) looks like all the scholars, the learned, the educational Institutions work under a MAFIA umbrella where they are succumbed to agree to go against such institutions. And as far as The high priced courses are concerned, people certainly don't mind shelling out money for there child's education.

So what if this one Scrutinized, Probably condemned Institution delivers Quality Education but the content of the bone lies in the fact that it is not affiliated to the board, UGC or AICTE to be precise. What piece of crap is that?

When a person sits in an Interview, he certainly does not sit with his Degree abreast. Your mother makes you food, but kid you eat it on your own. The world runs that way.

What reflects on the reputation of an Institution is what they have made out of a man or a woman in a term period of 3 years.

Welcome to 2013 everyone, where when we talk of education, the emphasis moves from Quality Education to Degree Affiliation.

Farewell MANMOHAN, MODI Executed

Hi everyone! Almost a month, i scribbled something on this template to communicate and reach out to you through my views. Quite frankly, a lot has been happening on the family front. There's this lady designated (now) as my fiance, soon to be my wife who takes away my time. And she rightfully deserves that. So, bless us with all your good wishes.  But here, i am not to talk of my personal life. I had and have been reading a lot about the declining stature and reputation of Indian National Congress and the steeping heights Bhartiya Janta Party has achieved through these elections. The BJP has won the battle and now we have MR. Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of this great nation called INDIA. But, amid-st all this " halla hoo " of Election 2014, many people have been unfairly positioned and misinterpreted. And the greatest of all of them being affected, Mr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of INDIA for consecutive 10 years i.e 2004- 2014. Mr. Manmohan Si...

Yeh Bharat Desh Hai Mera (c)

The Thought Good Morning every one. On this day, the 26 of January of 2013, I put forward a poem, a compilation of thoughts about my country India. The poem is called "Yeh Bharat Desh Hai Mera". It is an attempt to bring out both the positives and negatives, this nation has to offer. This is India, a secular country to be called, but still puzzled in communal differences and riots from the times i fail to remember. This is India, where the Poor is taken care of. Where the poor or the poverty struck does not need to care about his meals of the day, for this land is never short on food for charity. This is India, where Politics is a mud-play, where the commons don't matter to the political parties. What matters is there holding within the country. This is India, where riots arise on the stupid reasons of being a Temple built or a Mosque on a piece of land. I refer to the Babri Masjid case. This is India, which was considered a third world country by the glo...

Happy Women's Day

The Thought To all the women of the world, accept this poem for all what you do for (let's admit) the men. Men are great and good but incomplete. And yes, somewhere irresponsible. So i'll not bring much to the embarrassment of my brothers round the globe and straight shot say, "Lady who the one? I say YOU the one!" Accept this poem as a token of love and respect.  A big bow to the woman of today To the thorns of forbearance laid her way To the composure, she holds within her self To the closure , that absorbs everything in itself To the mother, that woke up to get you sleeping To the mother, seeing you sad was she weeping To the beloved, who would fight the world for you To the beloved, for her happiness entirely is you To the sister, who in secret prays for you To the sister, her lips have praise for you To the granny, for you're the apple of her eye To the granny, for she's the "buri nazar" spy ...

The ANTI-Social Media

I just tweeted a few days back " I have always been a little late than others! When people tweeted, i facebook' ed . Today when i am tweeting, i wonder what's next genre? " And i seriously think i am late and lag behind in the race of the virtual world. Furthermore to console and motivate myself, i keep calling myself a bit " Retro " or a bit " Vintage ". I strongly think that Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and many other virtual worlds have encouraged, influenced the participation of  "Mango People" in important matters. The participation and the say of a common man has increased manifold. In fact, it has further broadened the horizons of human understanding about different forms of Art and Cultures. The social media has been a great aide in bringing recognition to this labyrinth of talent scattered all over the world. Politics is a clear example of how social media educates and involves people connected from all over. O...

शुभ दीपावली ~ SHUBH DEEPAWALI

शुभ दीपावली  Here's wishing you a very Happy DIWALI in advance today. This is one of the times when every city looks beautiful as anything. It does not matter if you witness this scene while you are on one of the streets of any city or you are in a plane flying over the skies of any city or you are in a train crossing the distances from one city to another amid st some villages too. It has to be a visual treat. From small houses to big mansions to corporate towers creating the skyline lit up so beautifully, they surely make up for a visual treat . It's like being invited to the visual Feast of the Almighty himself. All that is good but there's one thing that's not good post Diwali. While we enjoy Diwali with our family and friends by burning crackers, there is a Cumulative Diwali Syndrome being build up in the air which would act very soon on every one, once Diwali is over. We, the people, birds and animals are the ones who suffer from this la...
